Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 based on experience

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Content Coordinator supports ITBC’s content operations, ensuring that digital assets are organized, accessible, and efficiently distributed to ITBC teams, Stakeholders, and external partners. This role provides logistical support across multiple departments, assisting with the execution of projects and enhancing ITBC’s storytelling initiatives. The Content Coordinator works closely with the Digital Content and Strategy Manager, providing administrative and operational support for corporate and consumer content projects and managing ITBC’s digital asset library.
Please note: In-depth knowledge of British Columbia’s geography and First Nations communities is required.

Through training, information resources, networking opportunities, experience development and marketing programs, ITBC is a resource for Indigenous entrepreneurs and communities in British Columbia who are operating or looking to start a tourism business.
ITBC works closely with tourism, business, education, and government organizations to help Indigenous tourism businesses in BC offer quality experiences and actively promote these experiences to visitors and residents.
KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Content Coordination & Project Support
- Ensure the accessibility of various digital content needed for training materials, AGM content, annual reports, and other department-specific projects and needs
- Support the organization and timely delivery of digital content projects.
- Oversee the creation of an Indigenous content creator list and work with Indigenous content creators.
- Digital Asset & Content Library Organization:
- Maintain ITBC’s digital content library, ensuring all media are correctly labelled and accessible.
- Keep content folders structured and updated on platforms such as Crowdriff, Dropbox, and BC Content Hub.
- Proactively distribute content to Stakeholders, partners, and internal teams.
- Blog Calendar & Editorial Workflow Support:
- Track and update ITBC’s blog content calendar.
- Coordinate with writers, designers, and internal teams to ensure timely progress through the editorial process.
- Support the creation and distribution of digital content assets for the blog.
- Assistance with Digital & Email Marketing
- Provide support to the Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist by preparing and organizing content needed for ITBC’s digital and email marketing campaigns.
- Ensure all digital content is accessible and ready for use, aligning with overall content strategy and marketing initiatives.
- ITBC Operations & Administrative Tasks
- While this role primarily involves content management, additional ITBC administrative tasks will be assigned on a rolling basis.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- In-depth knowledge of British Columbia’s geography and First Nations communities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organization and prioritization skills are essential.
- Proficiency in Digital Asset Management.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and basic project management skills.
- Desire to continually learn new skills and cultures.
- Technical Proficiency.
- Strong skillset in data management, Office365 and/ or Google SuiteAsana project management software is an asset.
- Highly organized and motivated.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Work Experience: Minimum of three years in an administrative-related role.
- Driver’s License: Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license

This successful candidate is a resident in the Vancouver Lower Mainland. Work is based in the ITBC head office located in West Vancouver, BC on the Squamish Nation reserve. The ability to work in a hybrid model will be determined after the probationary period.
