    Browse our range of training opportunities and find the one that fits your goals.
  3. Submit Your Application
    Fill out our online application form for your chosen course—it only takes a few minutes.
  4. Receive Email Confirmation
    Once you’ve applied, we’ll send you a confirmation email with all the details. Confirm your commitment to attend.
  5. Attend Your Training
    Show up, engage, and take full advantage of the learning opportunity.
  6. Celebrate and Continue Growing
    After completing the training, celebrate your success and sign up for more! Explore additional career-building opportunities to keep growing.

ARE YOU ELIGIBLE FOR FREE TRAINING?

At ITBC, we support Indigenous people, businesses and communities with accessible, high-quality training. Whether you’re an entrepreneur or a team member, our free programs and resources support your growth and ensure Indigenous tourism thrives across British Columbia. You may be eligible if you belong to one of the following groups:

  •  Indigenous people in BC
  • Employees of Indigenous-owned tourism businesses (51%+ Indigenous ownership), or First Nations in BC
  • ITBC Stakeholders, and employees of

COST-FREE TRAINING WITH COMPREHENSIVE SUPPORT

All training opportunities within the Indigenous Tourism Training Initiative are fully funded for eligible participants, meaning you won’t have to worry about the cost of the training itself. We cover the costs associated with facilitating the training, including the venue, trainer, materials, accommodations for the trainer, and any food and beverage provided during the workshop.

However, please note that participants are responsible for covering their own travel costs to and from the venue. We aim to make high-quality training as accessible and seamless as possible, allowing you to focus on enhancing your skills and growing your business.

We understand that plans can change. If you cannot attend a training opportunity you’ve committed to, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the spot to someone on our waitlist.

In the case of a no-show without notice, your eligibility for future training may be reviewed. We encourage open communication to ensure that these valuable opportunities are available to those who can attend.
