The ITTI program is an Indigenous led tourism training initiative to support current and aspiring Indigenous tourism workers and employers by providing Indigenous-led and culturally focused training. Employers and people working in the Indigenous tourism sector will be able to grow their skills and education through programs designed to attract and retain Indigenous tourism talent, develop careers, and strengthen the sector.
Who is Eligible?
Those eligible to receive training as part of the Indigenous Tourism Training Initiative the participant must be:
ITBC Stakeholders, or employees of
Indigenous tourism businesses (51% Indigenous ownership), or employees of
Indigenous Entrepreneurs and
First Nations communities

First Aid Certifications; Occupational, Marine, and Wilderness First Aid
Professional Development Series; Working Smart in Meetings Hybrid Edition
Customer Service Training; SuperHost certification
FOODSAFE; level 1 in addition we are excited to offer MarketSafe & ProcessSafe
