


Ay Lelum, The Good House of Design
Ay Lelum, The Good House of Design, is the design house of a multi-generational collaborative artist family making Coast Salish fashions in Snuneymuxw First Nation in Nanaimo, BC. Ay Lelum creates wearable art garments that embrace diversity and is committed to sharing Traditional Coast Salish art and culture. Their culturally appropriate clothing is designed with family artwork that is non-ceremonial and all-inclusive for everyone.
Ay Lelum hosts and opens events and offers workshops and fashion shows. The family also records music available on all popular streaming platforms. Custom collaborative artworks, including design and original art, are available for corporate projects.

Spirit of the Lake Native Boutique
Spirit of the Lake Native Boutique in West Kelowna offers a wide range of specialty gifts, including silver jewelry, moccasins, and beaded items handmade by Indigenous artists in BC. Spirit of the Lake Native carries First Nations art, jewellery, fashion, and houseware featuring Indigenous designs and gifts for graduations, weddings, and ceremonies.
The shop is named in honour of the Syilx legend of Okanagan Lake and nx̌aʔx̌ʔitkʷ, also known as Ogopogo–a spirit feared and respected but not considered malevolent. When you visit Spirit of the Lake Native Boutique, ask about nx̌aʔx̌ʔitkʷ (Ogopogo), ?-lawna (Kelowna), or Skimheist (Black Bear) and hear the owner’s family history on Tsinstikeptum 10.
