Kwa’lilas is a kwak’wala word used by Gwa’sala-‘Nakwaxda’xw people, which means a place to sleep. Guests of the property can immerse themselves in the vibrant culture and history of the Gwa’sala-‘Nakwaxda’xw people through the curated artwork, including masks and designs by local Indigenous artists displayed throughout the hotel. Kwalilas offers 85 guest rooms blending modern, chic design with local artistic expressions and Indigenous-inspired cuisine in the Nax’id Pub showcasing West Coast flavours.
